The aviation industry’s first night theme display and the ability to highlight terminal charts with the slide of a finger are now included with Jeppesen Mobile FliteDeck. Jeppesen Mobile FliteDeck 2.0 provides pilots with text and graphical weather services, including display of Echo Tops for North America and global lightning, winds aloft, turbulence, icing, METARS and TAF data. The solution eliminates paper-based flight materials and streamlines the entire flight process. Jeppesen Mobile FliteDeck version 2.0 now offers general aviation pilots and business aviation operators enhanced navigation functionality to simplify complex procedures, quickly determine ownship and make decisions based on enhanced situational awareness. A JeppView data subscription is necessary to use Jeppesen Mobile FliteDeck on iPad. In addition, flexible pricing options for four U.S.-based JeppView data subscriptions are now available, based on two or four device installs. Jeppesen, a unit of Boeing Flight Services, today introduces the arrival of Jeppesen Mobile FliteDeck version 2.0 for iPad, including the recently introduced iPad (4th generation) and iPad mini.
